The University Hospital Basel (USB), one of Switzerland's leading university hospitals, is acquiring St. Claraspital AG, a leading, systemically important hospital in north-western Switzerland, from St. Clara AG and the Ingenbohl Monastery. The transaction is subject to approval by the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO).
