Christoph A. Enz

As an attorney-at-law, Christoph A. Enz advises clients in corporate and contract law matters.

He has experience in general contract law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and life sciences. His main practice areas are in corporate law, in particular stock corporation law, and related matters such as financing rounds, transactions and restructurings.

As a notary public in the canton of Basel-City and the canton of Basel-Country, he advises clients in all areas of notarial services, including all real estate transactions in the cantons of Basel-City and Basel-Country as well as processes requiring notarization in corporate law and matrimonial and inheritance law.

Christoph A. Enz is admitted to the bar of Basel-City and holds a Bachelor of Law and Master of Law from the University of Bern as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History, Law and Political Science from the University of Zurich.

Since 2020, he has been working as an attorney-at-law at VISCHER, and as a notary public of the canton of Basel-City since 2025. Since 2024, he has additionally been working as an independent notary public in the canton of Basel-Country.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Christoph A. Enz is a dedicated officer and Company Commander in the Swiss Army. He is also a substitute judge at the Military Court of Appeals 2, the German-speaking second instance court responsible for judging criminal offenses committed during military service.

He grew up internationally and bilingually and is fluent in both English and German.
