Aline Mata is an attorney in the dispute resolution team. She advises individuals as well as companies on dispute resolution and litigation and represents their interests before authorities, Swiss courts, and arbitral tribunals. She focuses on inheritance law and complex cross-border and domestic contract disputes.

Aline was admitted to the bar in 2013 and is authorised to practice law throughout Switzerland. She holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Basel.

Prior to joining VISCHER, Aline was a clerk at the Civil Court of Basel-Country. Aline was also a legal associate at the Appeals Commission of the University of Basel and worked in a boutique law firm in Basel.

In addition to her legal practice, Aline regularly publishes and lectures in the fields of civil procedure and inheritance law.

Aline practices mainly in German and English. She also speaks French.
