The Covid pandemic was a particularly strong blow to tourism. This also applies to cruises on the river Rhine where, for months, no cruises could be operated and, subsequently, demand was virtually inexistent. VISCHER successfully represented a cruise ship operator confronted with claims and litigation by subcontractors who requested to be compensated for losses. The claims could be fended off almost in their entirety. The VISCHER team consisted of partner Thomas Weibel and associate Pascal Burgunder.
