The Swiss-based start-up medical technology company STIMIT AG was founded in 2018. Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology, has acquired a majority stake. STIMIT works on solutions to strengthen the respiratory muscles of artificially ventilated intensive care patients, in a non-invasive way. VISCHER is advising STIMIT and the sellers; the team is led by Matthias Staehelin with Pauline Pfirtner (both Corporate) and Nadia Tarolli (Tax).
