Attorney at Law / Senior Associate
Selim Marasco-Keller

Selim Marasco-Keller represents companies and individuals in national and international proceedings before state courts and arbitral tribunals. A particular focus of his practice is the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Switzerland, based on the Lugano Convention and the New York Convention. He has extensive experience with attachment proceedings and interim measures, as well as advising and representing creditors in bankruptcy and debt enforcement proceedings.

His practice further covers shareholder disputes, the enforcement of minority rights, and both judicial and out-of-court resolution of conflicts arising from long-term partnerships and deadlock situations. These include joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and franchise and distribution relationships.

He also represents parties in investment disputes, for example in connection with investment profiles or with disclosure and restitution claims relating to kickbacks.

In insurance law, Selim Marasco-Keller advises and represents both insurers and policyholders in the defence and enforcement of claims, particularly in the areas of D&O and professional liability insurance. He also provides advice on the drafting of policies and general terms and conditions.

In real estate matters, he represents clients in construction and tenancy disputes, as well as in proceedings relating to purchase, brokerage, and agency agreements, particularly commission disputes. He also advises creditors and debtors in proceedings concerning the realisation of security interests.

Selim Marasco-Keller regularly publishes practice-oriented articles in his areas of practice. He studied law at the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG in Law) and completed an LL.M. at Koç University in Istanbul. He speaks German, English, and Turkish.

When he is not in court, he supports Galatasaray Istanbul – a passion where it is admittedly often harder for him to keep a cool head than in his professional work.
