We regularly act in insurance litigation and arbitration matters, representing insurance companies as well as insured parties, depending on the matter. We particularly advise in areas such as financial lines insurance (D&O issues, crime and cybercrime insurance), property, liability claims in planning and construction matters, as well as special lines issues (event cancellation policies during the Covid-19 pandemic). We have supported Swiss and European insurers in proceedings abroad to bridge cultural, legal, and language gaps and to assure that all possible defenses are being raised in a timely fashion (among other things, Swiss enforcement reservation). We have acted in matters taking place, among others, in the US, Colombia, Italy, France. We also monitor foreign counsel's work related to insurance matters (e.g., relating to UK, Australia, Italy, the US, and Colombia).

Led by Daniele Favalli, the team combines legal acumen with a global perspective. Alongside a team of two partners and eight lawyers, he handles international cases, liaising with foreign counsel, and representing clients in court and arbitral tribunals, particularly in regions like the US, Latin America and Europe.
