Adrian Dörig heads the banking & finance practice team at VISCHER. For more than 20 years, he has advised Swiss and foreign clients on structured financing with a focus on syndicated secured loan financings, in particular corporate and acquisition financing.
Adrian also focuses on regulatory and contract law issues in financial services and collective investment schemes. As an expert representative recognized by the Regulatory Board of the SIX Swiss Exchange, he is active in capital market transactions. In addition, he has many years of experience in M&A projects, real estate transactions and corporate law and advises creditors and debtors in restructurings.
Born in 1967, Adrian studied at the University of St. Gallen (HSG; lic.iur. 1992 and Dr.iur. 1998) and at the University of Virginia, USA (LL.M. 1996; Fulbright Scholar). He was admitted to the Swiss bar (Canton of St. Gallen) in 1994 and to the bar of the State of New York, USA, in 1997. After completing judicial and legal internships, he worked as an attorney in large, internationally active business law firms in New York, Zurich and Geneva.
Adrian is named as one of the leading banking & finance lawyers by Chambers (Global and Europe), IFLR 1000, Legal 500, Who's Who Legal and Best Lawyers. He is fluent in German (mother tongue), English and French.
