We are very pleased to announce that we have promoted Ruben Masar, LL.M., to Partner, effective 1 January 2026.
Ruben Masar joined VISCHER in 2013 and has since become a cornerstone of our Corporate/M&A team. With over ten years of hands-on experience, his practice focuses on all aspects of M&A and venture capital transactions, group restructurings, and general corporate law, including corporate governance.
He advises national and international companies, corporate groups, and entrepreneurs. Clients value his professional competence, his solution-driven mindset, and his calm approach when handling complex matters, always keeping the commercial needs of his clients at the forefront.
Ruben Masar studied at the University of Basel and holds an LL.M. from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. In addition to his legal practice, he holds various board and corporate secretary mandates. He also serves as the Honorary Consul for the Slovak Republic in the Basel region.
