With over 10 years of hands-on experience, Ruben Masar's practice focuses on all aspects of M&A and venture capital transactions, group (re-)structurings as well as on general corporate law. He advises international and national companies, corporate groups as well as entrepreneurs. He holds Board and secretary positions in various companies. His expertise particularly includes M&A transactions, private equity deals, and complex restructurings. In addition, he advises clients on corporate governance matters. Ruben Masar studied in Basel and holds an LL.M. from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Ruben is the Honorary Consul for the Slovak Republic in the Basel region. He is a passionate Vespa driver and choir singer.
