The Axpo Group produces, trades and distributes energy for more than 3 million People and several thousand companies in Switzerland and in over 30 countries throughout Europe. In order to better respond to market volatility, Axpo is in the process of adapting its corporate structure. In this context, Axpo Power AG has e.g. transferred its grid business by way of a transfer of assets pursuant to the Swiss Federal Merger Act to Axpo Grid AG. The net value of the transferred assets amounts to approximately CHF 856 million.
