Forum about counterfeits and how to fight them

Our Managing Associate Jonas D. Gassmann organised a forum about counterfeits and how to fight them at the Swiss Trademark Conference 2022 – one of the largest gatherings for brand decision-makers in Switzerland, organised by ESB Marketing Netzwerk and htp St. Gallen Managementberatung AG.

The forum further included presentations of Yves Bugmann (Head of Legal Division, Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH), who talked about the Swiss watch industry's take, and of Stephan Walder (Prosecutor Deputy Head of Office, Public Prosecutor's Office Zurich II, Cybercrime), who elaborated on remedies in the cybercrime context. It was rounded up by a lively panel discussion between Leonie Flückiger (Co-Founder & CTO, Adresta AG) and David Geisser (Founder & CEO, collectID) who talked about how brand owners can use NFT and blockchain in this battle.
