We are pleased to announce that Christian Schneiter, LL.M., has been promoted to partner as of 1 January 2026.
Christian Schneiter specialises in complex financing transactions. He regularly advises companies, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions on bilateral and syndicated acquisition and corporate financings, as well as on structured and project financings. His other areas of expertise include capital market transactions, restructurings and corporate law matters.
With his many years of experience and outstanding expertise, he will strengthen our market position in Banking & Finance.
Christian Schneiter graduated from the University of Bern in 2013, was admitted to the bar in 2016 and holds an LL.M. degree from the Panthéon-Assas University in Singapore. During his high school and university studies, he was a swimmer at an international professional level and a long-standing member of the Swiss national swimming team.
Christian Schneiter joined VISCHER in 2020, having previously worked for two other major Swiss law firms.
