Thomas Gelzer started his career as an attorney and a civil law notary in 1986. He is partner of the dispute resolution team of VISCHER and is mainly focused on litigation before Swiss and international courts. He represents Swiss domestic and international clients in commercial disputes, mainly in the areas of contract law, insurance law, product liability law and intellectual property right issues. Thomas Gelzer also chairs the Josef and Olga Tomcsik Foundation, Basel, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Basel Theatre Cooperative (Theater Basel, www.theater-basel.ch).
