
Attorney at Law / Senior Associate
Samira Studer is an attorney in the Data & AI Team. She advises international companies, Swiss SMEs and start-ups on data, data protection and technology law, including the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act.
She also advises on data-driven business models and platform solutions, as well as outsourcing and information technology projects in a variety of industries.
She is particularly experienced in managing and implementing larger data protection compliance projects, complex cross-border data flows and associated contracts, and internal data protection training and processes.
In 2024, she completed a secondment with the Legal Team at Google Switzerland.
Prior to joining VISCHER, she worked in the field of international arbitration and litigation, as well as in the legal department of a Swiss pharmaceutical company.
She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) by the IAPP. She is also an active member of the IAPP and serves as Co-Chair for the Swiss KnowledgeNet Chapter. She regularly organizes events and conferences, and moderates panel discussions in her field of expertise.
