Jonas Baeriswyl is an attorney in the Data & AI Team.

His practice focuses on technology, innovation and data protection law. His areas of expertise include cloud projects of financial, insurance and public institutions, with a particular focus on regulatory, professional secrecy and data protection requirements, data protection compliance projects for national and international clients, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector, and in leading eDiscovery projects.

He holds a Master's degree in law and economics from the University of St. Gallen. Before joining VISCHER, he worked at other large Swiss corporate law firms, the Commercial Court of Berne and the Chair of Public Economic Law at the University of St. Gallen. In addition to handling compliance projects, he is experienced in negotiating data protection and cloud contracts, including with hyperscalers.
