Dr. Joel Drittenbass

Dr Joel Drittenbass is a lawyer at VISCHER specialising in Environmental, Energy and Health Care law. He advises and represents parties in administrative law matters, in particular companies in the environmental and energy sectors and the healthcare industry.

Joel Drittenbass studied law at the University of St. Gallen. In his dissertation, which was awarded the Professor Walther Hug Prize 2021, he dealt in depth with data protection and medical device law aspects of autonomous medical robots.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr. Joel Drittenbass regularly conducts research and publishes in the fields of Public and Administrative law. He is also a lecturer in Public and Administrative law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
