Dr. Fernand Chappuis

Prof. Dr. Fernand Chappuis has extensive experience in Swiss Business Law and his main practice areas are Swiss Company Law and Swiss Contract Law.

Fernand Chappuis is admitted to the bar in Geneva and holds degrees from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) including PhD in law. He has been practicing law since 1998, starting his career at a large law firm in Geneva as associate before subsequently moving to a boutique law firm in Geneva, where he worked as a Counsel.

Fernand Chappuis also practices as a public notary in Neuchâtel.

In addition to his legal practice, Fernand Chappuis regularly publishes in the area of Swiss Company Law and lectures at the University of Neuchâtel in the field of Swiss Business Law (Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law).

Fernand Chappuis is Counsel to VISCHER Geneva offices and provides legal advice in English, French, German and Italian. He regularly publishes in French, German and English.
