Basile Walder

Basile Walder practices primarily as counsel in the field of commercial law, with a focus on entrepreneurship, corporate law and legal aspects relating to IT contracts and advanced technologies. In parallel, he also developed his practice in employment laws, IP and data protection/privacy laws.

As part of his activities, he has been involved in numerous deals and restructurations for large companies, banks, start-ups or investors, including financings, sales/acquisitions, mergers and transformations, as well as complex IT projects (XaaS, outsourcings (ITO/BPO), developments, licensing, etc.).

Basile Walder obtained his diplomas from the Geneva University and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Before joining VISCHER, he worked several years in the Corporate and TMT departments of in the Geneva office of one of Switzerland largest law firm, and then as a senior associate in a boutique law firm in Lausanne.
