Anela Lucic advises and represents national and international companies, public-sector employers and individuals on all aspects of Swiss employment law.
She has extensive experience in employment litigation and represents her clients' interests before state courts and authorities, in particular with regard to dismissals, compensation, bonus and non-competition clauses. Anela Lucic advises employers in preparing and structuring of employment agreements and employee regulations as well as in the fields of data privacy, (cross-border) assignments of employees and staff leasing, amongst other things. In addition, she regularly assists corporate clients in all labour and employment law issues surrounding reorganisations or transactions, particularly in the context of collective redundancies and transfer of undertakings. Moreover, she is experienced in representing damaged parties in criminal proceedings.
Anela Lucic was admitted to the bar in 2014 and is registered with the bar registry of the canton of Basel-City. She holds degrees from the University of Basel and the title of Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law. This title stands for specialized practical experience in employment law and related areas of law and is awarded by the Swiss Bar Association (SBA) after successful completion of an intensive program of additional training. Before joining VISCHER as an attorney in 2014, she worked in various functions at the University of Basel and completed several legal traineeships. In 2019, she completed her profile with a secondment at the employment law team of a leading international law firm in London.
In addition to her legal practice, Anela regularly publishes and speaks in the field of labour and employment law and is active in various professional associations.
