First Legal Session at BaseLaunch Healthcare Accelerator Program

On September 21, VISCHER partner Dr. Matthias Staehelin kicked off the legal sessions of the BaseLaunch Healthcare Accelerator Program with a presentation on "How to Structure Your Team from a Legal Perspective". Matthias elaborated on who among the formal and informal stakeholders in a new venture should become part of the founder team and how to allocate the shares between them. He also shared his longstanding experience on the three definite key provisions in early stage shareholders agreements. Hints and tips on how to involve and incentivize employees prior to a first financing round rounded up the presentation.

Following the presentation, the participants in the BaseLaunch Healthcare Accelerator Program and VISCHER partners Matthias Staehelin and Christian Wyss engaged in lively discussions on several legal issues related to startup projects.
