HAYA Therapeutics AG has successfully closed its Series-A-financing round of USD 65m – an important step toward its vision of reprogramming disease-causing cellular states.

HAYA, a biotechnology company based in Lausanne, develops RNA-based therapies for the targeted reprogramming of diseased cellular programs. To do this, HAYA uses lncRNAs from the “dark genome,” a previously understudied area of the genome. With its proprietary platform combining genome research and AI, HAYA is developing innovative treatments for chronic diseases. The drug candidate HTX-001 is the first IncRNA therapy of its kind for heart failure. Further programs target chronic diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis, obesity, and metabolic disorders. Supported by high-profile investors and an experienced team, HAYA is advancing the potential of the “dark genome” for new therapies.
