Celgene (NASDAQ: CELG) has bought Swiss biotech EngMab for USD 600 million. EngMab's focus is on T-cell bispecific antibodies (TCBs). TCBs bind simultaneously to a target on a tumor cell and to the T-cell receptor complex, leading to killing of the malignant cell. EngMab focuses on tumor indications with high medical need.
