Anheuser-Busch InBev sells SABMiller's former Eastern Europe Business to Asahi for a purchase price of EUR 7.3 billion. In connection with AB InBev's merger with SABMiller, the European Commission ordered AB InBev to dispose of certain assets. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2017.
