On September 25, 2020, the Swiss Federal Parliament has passed a completely revised Data Protection Act (DPA). The idea was to bring Swiss law in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). However, while many of the concepts found in the GDPR will now also exist in Swiss law, Switzerland did not just a “copy & paste” EU law.
In our free Webinar on October 14, 2020 at 4 p.m., the head of our data protection team will tell you what you need to know about the new Swiss data protection law in comparison with the GDPR, where existing GDPR governance will be sufficient to be in compliance with the new law and where you need to make changes. The Webinar will be recorded, but at the Webinar, you have the opportunity to ask questions. For more information on the new law, please also see our Blog update of today.
The participation is free of charge. The webinar will be held and recorded in English, so you can watch it later. Further information on the new DSG can also be found in our blog post.
