Biogen, an international biotechnology company, announced to invest one billion francs for a new biological manufacturing facility in Luterbach in the canton of Solothurn. A pre-contract with the Canton of Solothurn for the purchase of the land has been concluded. The consummation of the land purchase and the beginning of the construction work shall be at the end of 2015.
