Samira Studer

Samira Studer is an attorney in the Data & Privacy Team. She advises international companies, Swiss SMEs and start-ups on data, data protection and technology law, including the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act.

She also advises on data-driven business models and platform solutions, as well as outsourcing and information technology projects in a variety of industries.

She is particularly experienced in managing and implementing larger data protection compliance projects, complex cross-border data flows and associated contracts, and internal data protection training and processes.

Prior to joining VISCHER, she worked in the field of international arbitration and litigation, as well as in the legal department of a Swiss pharmaceutical company.

She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) by the IAPP. She is also an active member of the IAPP and serves as Co-Chair for the Swiss KnowledgeNet Chapter. She regularly organizes events and conferences, and moderates panel discussions in her field of expertise.
