Marc-Antoine Bree headed the corporate tax department of the Cantonal Bank of Zurich until 2018. His practice focuses on the comprehensive tax advice for banks and financial service providers. In addition to corporate taxes, tax risk management and procedural law, he has a solid track record on the design of financial products and services, the issuance of financial instruments and M & A projects. He has a vast experience on VAT topics as well as the industry-specific implementation processes.

As a member of the Tax Commission of the Swiss Bankers Association for a decade, he has extensive experience in the customer-oriented implementation of compliance regulations such as US-Tax, FATCA, Automatic Information Exchange and Customer Documentation.

Marc-Antoine Bree studied at the University of Basel and graduated at the University of St. Gallen. He is admitted to the Bar in Switzerland and is a Swiss certified Tax Expert. He holds an Executive Master in International and European Business Law from the University of St. Gallen.
