Karin Graf

Karin Graf is a partner in VISCHER's Dispute Resolution Team. She represents and advises companies and individuals and has been acting before state courts and arbitral tribunals for more than 20 years. In addition, Karin Graf regularly acts as an arbitrator.

Her practice focuses on various areas including corporate disputes, including those involving white collar crime, national and international distribution agreements, banking disputes, the representation of private individuals in estate-related matters and the assessment of investment and joint venture projects, also in the energy sector. Karin Graf also has many years of experience in insolvency litigation and precautionary legal protection.

She studied at the University of St.Gallen and, after passing the Zurich bar exam, completed an LL.M. at Queen Mary College, University of London. She worked in various large and medium-sized Zurich law firms before being appointed partner in her former firm in 2015. Karin Graf has also been active on the board of the Zurich Bar Association since 2021, currently as Vice President.

Karin Graf has been recognised by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal for her work as both a litigator and arbitrator, and has been described as "a star in the field", "a responsive brilliant lawyer", "very skilled arbitration practitioner", "clear when explaining complex legal issues" and as "accessible, easy to work with and immensely bright". 

She regularly lectures and publishes on topics of procedural and arbitration law. She works in German and English and also speaks French, Italian and Spanish.
