In his free time, Dr. Tobias F. Rohner is a passionate rower. Just like in professional life, rowing also requires teamwork. The pursuit of a common goal is what creates fulfillment in a team. Therefore, he is happy to strengthen our now 16-strong team of tax experts and spur them on to new heights of performance.
Dr. Tobias F. Rohner studied in St. Gallen and was admitted to the bar in 2002. In 2008 he obtained the federal diploma as a tax expert.
With more than 20 years of experience as a tax lawyer, he has considerable expertise in advising international and domestic companies, start-ups, fund and trust structures and high net worth individuals. He advises them in connection with immigration, business set-up, implementation of employee benefit plans, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, tax audits and succession planning. He also regularly represents clients before the authorities and courts in contentious tax matters.
