Due to his interest in business and his admission to the New York Bar, Sebastian Burckhardt mainly advises international companies based in the USA and major Swiss companies and their owners on a long-term basis. These include companies with heterogeneous ownership structures (such as private equity financed companies or those owned by several family members) as well as their shareholders and owner families. He is a member of the board of directors of Jungbunzlauer Holding AG, of Applied Chemicals International AG, of Dolder AG and is secretary of the board of directors of Dreyfus Söhne & Cie AG, Banquiers in Basel. Since the beginning of his legal career in 1981, he has specialized in company successions, M&A and private equity.
