Nouscom, a clinical-stage, cancer interception focused biotech developing next-generation immunotherapies, announced the closing of an oversubscribed EUR 120m (USD 135m ) Series D financing. The round was co-led by M Ventures and Revelation Partners alongside new investors Angelini Industries (through Angelini Investments), the European Investment Bank (through Aurea, its co-investment facility with Angelini Ventures), and Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Group). Nouscom’s other existing international life sciences investors, 5AM Ventures, Andera Partners, Angelini Ventures, Bpifrance (through its InnoBio2 fund), CDP Venture Capital (through its Large Ventures Fund), EQT Life Sciences, Indaco Venture Partners, Panakes Partners, Versant Ventures and XGEN Ventures, all participated in the round. The strong demand for the round reflects investor conviction in Nouscom’s pipeline and recently published clinical data.
