Mainova acquires mobiheat majority

Frankfurt-based Mainova AG, one of the largest regional German energy providers, has acquired a majority stake in Bavarian energy service provider mobiheat GmbH, including its Austria and Swiss subsidiaries, from Energieversorgung Offenbach AG (EVO) and the mobiheat founders.

VISCHER advised Mainova on the Swiss legal and tax aspects of the transaction whereas McDermott Will & Emery acted as lead counsel.
