Anstelle staatlicher Handelsschranken treten in zunehmendem Masse private Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen in den Vordergrund. Der Lizenzvertrag erweist sich dabei als ein flexibles Instrument, um den grenzüberschreitenden Handel mit immaterialgüterrechtlich geschützten Waren über die sich aus dem Schutzrecht ergebenden Möglichkeiten hinaus zu steuern und auch zu beschränken. Bei der Identifikation und Bekämpfung von Beschränkungen kommt dem Lizenzkartellrecht eine bedeutende Rolle zu. Ziel des Business Talks ist es, Probleme an der Schnittstelle zwischen Immaterialgüter- und Kartellrecht aufzuzeigen und Handlungsoptionen zur Vermeidung von Kartellrechtsverstössen darzulegen.
