Beatrice Wagner Pfeifer is Titularprofessor for public law, in particular environmental law, at the University of Basel. At VISCHER she is legal counsel both in an advising and forensic capacity in questions such as prior encumbrances, environmentally compatible examinations, water conservation requirements, chemicals etc. Beatrice Wagner Pfeifer is a board member of the Swiss Association of Environmental Law and Vice-President of the Federal Expropriations Commission responsible for the Canton of Basel-City. She wrote her habilitation on genetically changed organisms and published a textbook in two volumes about environmental law.
