Christoph Pestalozzi is a senior partner in the dispute resolution team and heads its international commercial arbitration group. Beatrice Wagner Pfeifer is titularprofessor of public law, in specialising environmental law, at the University of Basel. At VISCHER she is legal counsel both in an advising and forensic capacity on issues such as prior encumbrances, environmentally compatible examinations, water conservation requirements and chemicals. Beatrice is a board member of the Swiss Association of Environmental Law and Vice-President of the Federal Expropriations Commission responsible for the Canton of Basel-City. She wrote her habilitation thesis on genetically changed organisms and published a two volume textbook on environmental law. In addition she regularly publishes in technical magazines on environmental and expropriation law issues.
