Nadia Tarolli Schmidt heads up the Basel office of VISCHER’s tax team. She advises companies and private individuals on all matters pertaining to Swiss tax law – both in the national and international environment and also in criminal tax law. She can draw on over ten years’ experience in topics such as restructurings, relocations and succession planning.
The know how she has gained from her previous work at the Swiss Bankers Association is regularly brought to bear in banking and finance issues and in the advice she provides to banking clients. Beatrice Wagner Pfeifer is Titularprofessor for public law, in particular environmental law, at the University of Basel. At VISCHER she is legal counsel both in an advising and forensic capacity in questions such as prior encumbrances, environmentally compatible examinations, water conservation requirements, chemicals etc. Beatrice Wagner Pfeifer is a board member of the Swiss Association of Environmental Law and Vice-President of the Federal Expropriations Commission responsible for the Canton of Basel-City. She wrote her habilitation on genetically changed organisms and published a textbook in two volumes about environmental law.
